FUN ALERT!!! Are you a super fun-loving, super cool South senior adult(55+) looking for fellowship and a little exercise as well? You’re in luck! Come check out Legacy’s newly-formed pickleball group, the Dillies Pickleball Players! Never heard of or played the game? This group is for YOU! We’re a non-competitive, non-scoring, just-have-fun group of beginners. We’ll meet one Wednesday a month through the summer, then move to Mondays in the fall. Equipment will be provided (or bring your own).
The summer schedule is June 29, July 27, and August 31, 3-4:30 p.m., in the church gym. If interested, contact Karen Philbrook at 217-649-2908 or karenphilbrook@gmail.com, OR sign up @ the Legacy information area near room 111. You DON’T want to miss this!!!

Tom, then a “Barnabas” panel (based on Acts 11:19-30) featuring Dave, Kim, Josh, Courtney and Daa. A faith story from Pon (CLAY Center director) will follow.
Awana will meet as usual. Student Ministries and Wednesday Bible Studies will join the Closing Program.
God is bringing the nations to Lansing on a weekly basis. While sending missionaries to people groups around the world is still a priority, now we all can represent Christ by ministering to the ones God is sending here. Join us Saturday, 11/4 from 9:30-11 am for a training seminar to learn how you can befriend and show Christ’s love to these precious people.
Please join us in saluting our veterans. This event is hosted by our Legacy group, but all are invited. We will have a nice meal, fellowship and a few surprises. The cost for the event is $5. You can register at the Legacy board or contact Terri Bettinger in the Church office.

John’s adoptive-mom fanned the flame of music that still burns today. From the early days of their courtship, Heidi and John discovered they were both adopted as infants and shared similar paths. Both had loving parents who nurtured their spiritual lives and love for music as they grew, and encouraged them to pursue music even into their college years.
In John’s work, in his faith, in his marriage, in his service to others — music underpins it all. Come listen as he plays the songs that influenced his journey, helped him understand the gospel of Jesus Christ, and gave him the assurance to overcome obstacles.

Have you ever wanted to be a VIP? Well, our Legacy Group will be VIPs on Saturday, December 2nd production of Pilgrim. We will go to lunch at Hibachi Grill in Lansing and then go to see Pilgrim for the 1 PM show. Those who signed up will have VIP seating and a VIP swag bag. Cost is $15 for lunch.
